- I first saw Ava and Noelle ministering through song
in Norcross, Georgia during Cee Cee Michaela's Godzgirl's Network
HOLYwood Retreat singing their single V.I.R.G.I.N. I also love
"Dawn of a New Day" and can't wait to see what's next
for this powerful duo of a blessing from God.

- Vanessa Davis Griggs: Ava and Noelle, tell us about yourselves
and your ministry.
-
- Ava and Noelle: We are two sisters with a heart to help our
peers come to know God through music. We want them to know how
cool it is to know him.
-
- Griggs: My niece, Alexis who was 13 at the time, and I
both loved the song V.I.R.G.I.N. How and why did you decide to
record this song?

- Ava and Noelle: We are virgins and to be a virgin is rare.
We decided that it was a message that our peers/unmarried community
needed to hear. There are too many teens getting pregnant and
STDs. Sex may be a thriller, but AIDS is a killer.

- Griggs: You have relocated from Minneapolis, MN to Atlanta,
GA: why did you decide to make this move and what is the immediate
vision for Ava and Noelle?

- Ava and Noelle: We have known for a while that Atlanta would
be the place we were supposed to be. This summer God gave us
the go ahead to move.

- Griggs: I'm a firm believer that we all come here with
a purpose. What is your passion and your purpose and what do
you desire to give to the world?

- Ava and Noelle: We desire to make God famous and show the
world an alternative lifestyle (the kingdom) through music.

- Griggs: What message to you want people, especially the
young people, to get from the work you do?
Ava and Noelle: If God can use us, he can use them too and that
they can do it too. We are two girls from the country. You have
to have faith and believe him and he will give you the desires
of your heart.

- Griggs: I believe in vision and without it, people really
do perish. Where do you see yourself (vision) ten years from
now?

- Ava and Noelle: We will be helping to pave the way for more
gospel artists to be seen in the mainstream. We plan to be married
with kids, training them to be Godly duplicates. Her? Records
(our production company) will be producing other artists &
artist development.

- Griggs: Ava, I hear you were part of a theatrical play.
Tell us more about that. What's it about? What role did you play?
How did you get the role? Are you planning to do more of this?

- Ava: "Snapshots: Life in the City" is the story
of these girls who are menaces to society. However, they have
a teacher who can see past their fronts and decides to give them
a unique learning experience. They are to go out and interview
people around the city to see what life is like for them. Sarah
and Josie's (the two girls) lives are changed forever after seeing
what others go through and they become much better people.

- I played the role of Sarah, a girl who likes poetry but comes
from an abusive home situation. The role fell into my lap. J.D.
Steele, who has traveled around the world doing music and is
currently in Europe touring, called me out of the clear blue
saying that he was looking for someone to play the part of Sarah
and he hadn't been satisfied with anyone yet. He thought I would
fit the role to the T. I auditioned, and he called me back the
same day and told me I got the part.

- I plan to do more; maybe once a year depending on my schedule.
But it was very rewarding experience!

- Griggs: What are you presently working on, and when can
we expect a new release?
-
- Ava and Noelle: We are working on our next release. And it
will be released some time next year. The sister song to V.I.R.G.I.N.
is entitled "Reborn" and speaks to people who are not
virgins but are trying to live holy and gives them the motivation
to take control of their bodies through the strength of God.
"Reborn" is HOTTT!! Just as hot as "V.I.R.G.I.N"
and will be on the next album.
